Train Information
- The national railway company is Osterreichische Bundesbahnen (OBB): www.oebb.at
- Train types: Railjet (RJ) and InterCityExpress (ICE) (high speed trains), reservations possible but not required; EuroCity and InterCity (EC/IC), reservations possible but not required; RegionalExpress(REX), Regionalzug (R) and S-Bahn (regional and commuter trains, the latter only in some cities), reservations not possible; EuroNight trains and Klagenfurt - Venice (international bus service),
reservations required. - Bikes are allowed on most trains upon purchase of a special bike ticket.
Ferries, ships, buses… everything but train

Food and drink
- Eat Wiener Schnitzel with Knodel (breaded veal cutlet); Tafelspitz (boiled beef served with apple jam and horseradish sauce); Frittatensuppe (meat stew with added pancake strips ); Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions); Grostl (saute of pork, potatoes and onion).

main cities.
