Train information
The national railway company is Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL): www.cfl.lu
Train types: TGV (high speed trains), reservations are required; Express (RE and RB)
and InterCity (IC), reservations are not required.
Bikes are allowed on most trains free of charge.
Ferries, ships, buses… everything but train
CFL (see above) operates both buses and trains in the country. Bus services cover
virtually all locations; however, in some villages there are only a couple of buses per

The City of Luxembourg is served by a good bus network, more information can be
