Special Features
More than 20 Thalys trains run every day between Paris and Bruxelles in about 1.20 hours, 10 of those trains link to Amsterdam in about 1.53 hours. Thalys also links Paris to Liège in about 2.10 hours, Antwerpen in about 2.04 hours, Oostende in about 2.40 hours, Namur in about 2.18 hours and Köln in about 3.15 hours. Special prices are applied depending on passenger type, length of stay, comfort level purchase, refund and exchange conditions.
The traditional 1st and 2nd classes have been renamed “Comfort 1” and “Comfort 2” calling to mind the idea that the level of service is the main difference between them. In Comfort 1 passengers are served a light meal or a snack and drink. In the Netherlands Thalys is closed for domestic traffic.
16 Fyra trains run every day between Amsterdam and Bruxelles in about 1.52 hours links Bruxelles to Rotterdam in about 1.14 hours, Bruxelles to Schiphol in about 1.37 hours, Bruxelles to Amsterdam in about 1.55 hours. Special prices are applied depending on passenger type, length of stay, comfort level purchase, refund and exchange conditions. There are traditional 1st and 2nd classes ; in the two classes , passengers have the opportunity of a minibar.
